A set of sinister twins are on the hunt for a mysterious blue marble and believe that former movie star Griselda Saterlee knows where it is. Wherever Griselda turns, it seems that the twins have anticipated her move. They are not above killing and Griselda does her best to prevent her former husband from falling into their clutches. Who can she trust and how can she prevent further murders? The marble turns out to be a McGuffin to move the story along, but it is a very sinister and engrossing story. I’m not sure that I would include it in top 100 lists, as some others have suggested, though it is well done. The helplessness of the heroine and her reluctance to seek competent help gets frustrating, though.
