TBR #49

Aka: Bushranger of the Skies, the eighth in the Napoleon Bonaparte series. Bony is ni the outback, intending to pose as a stockman, when a plane flying overhead drops a bomb on a nearby police car. Soon Bony is involved with a ranch owner, her niece and the Aborigine tribe nearby. The owner’s son is half aborigine, as is Bony, and harbors a grudge against his father and the world. Along with a neighboring tribe, he tries to force his father to give him control of the ranch, while Bony works to stop him. A thriller more than a mystery, it is very enjoyable, though somewhat slower going than most of what I read. Not that that is bad, but it causes me not to pick them up as often as I should.
