Edmund Crispin – Holy Disorders (1945)

Golden Age
Category: Clergy or Religion
Date Finished: March 6, 2015

Well, I fell way behind here, so have a lot of quick reviews to do. I was busy reading, and we know that’s what I should be doing.

The second Gervase Fen mystery has much more character than I remember being in the first, especially from Fen. The wife liked the first one better than this or the Moving Toyshop, but I enjoyed the church setting and Devon countryside, which is where my Gribble ancestors came from. It seems to me at this late date that there was some issue I had with the church business, but cannot remember. The ending was a surprise.

I’m not a big fan of this 1980 Avon cover art.
